Origin Energy has announced it will buy all of the power generated at the Moree Solar Farm under a 15 year agreement.
The farm is the second largest in Australia and the first large scale solar facility to use a single-axis tracking system, increasing the amount of energy it produces.
It’ll have a capacity of 56 megawatts and be able to power 24,000 homes once completed.
The plant is due to be finished this month.
