Water restrictions will increase in Tamworth, Moonbi and Kootingal on Saturday with council announcing level two restrictions have been triggered.
The decision was made due to the low water level in Chaffey Dam, which is sitting just above 40 per cent.
It means sprinklers can no longer be used, however hand- held hoses are permitted between 5 and 7pm.
