The Newcastle Knights are back at work.
The side blew away the off season cobwebs with a beep test at the Forum.
Chris Houston was king of the forwards in the test. Kurt Gidley was absent as he races against the clock to be fit for round one next year. The utility is due to have pins removed from his injured ankle in early December.
