Artistry hung on for the win in the group three.
Meanwhile Kris Lees’ star runner Le Romain finished 7th in today’s group one Rosehill Guineas.
After a surprise win in the Randwick Guiness two weeks ago, Le Romain faded with 200 to go.
It was the gelding’s first race over 2000 metres.
