Merewether surfer, Ryan Callinan, has been knocked out of the the Quicksilver Pro on the Gold Coast.
The boardrider bombed out against the event’s defending champion Filipe Toledo, posting a 5.00 for his best wave, against Toledo’s 16.60.
The result was a disappointing end to Callinan’s first event as a tour regular after he upset South African Jordy Smith on Sunday.
