An Antarctic Leopard Seal with expensive taste has been spotted living it up at Port Stephens.
The seal spent today resting on the back of a luxury motorcruiser at the Anchorage Resort in the holiday village of Corlette.
National Parks and Wildlife officers say a small number of Leopard Seals swim to warmer northern waters each year on wide ranging fishing expeditions.
It’s expected that after a few days rest, he’ll return to the sea to begin his return journey south.
He’s so far escaped the exclusive marina’s usual nightly fee.
