Tweed police have made a major drug bust, seizing 1600 cannabis plants, and 25 kilos of cannabis leaf, from a remote property near Murwillumbah.
A 63-year-old man has been charged over the haul, which has an estimated street value of $3.6-million.
“This is a significant warning that if you’re going to grow cannabis we will be investigating you and taking stern action.”
