A 29-year-old man has been charged with firearm offences, after a home was searched at Armidale.
Detectives seized a 12-guage double barrel shotgun and ammunition while searching the property on Ishbell Drive last night.
Police allege the firearm was stolen from a house on the New England Highway at Tilbuster in August 2014.
The man has been charged with possessing an unregistered firearm and possessing ammunition without holding a licence.
