FIRE EXTINGUISHER ESCAPES AIRCRAFT

The Royal Australian Air Force has commenced an internal investigation, after a fire extinguisher fell out of an aircraft mid-flight in the north west today.
The incident occurred during a flight from Tamworth’s Basic Flying Training School, with the equipment landing approximately 10 kilometres north west of Werris Creek.
No defence force personnel were injured, but members of the public are warned not too touch the out-of-place extinguisher if found.
