Knights Chief Executive Matt Gidley says a player swap or transfer fee for Joseph Tapine is still a strong possibility.
Reports surfaced this morning saying the Raiders are not willing to entertain the idea, but Gidley reiterated to NBN News those suggestions are premature.
Tapine has been sidelined by Knights coaching staff since signing with the Raiders, starting 2017.
