In two weeks time, athletes will put their minds and bodies to the test in the Samson Fitness Challenge in Lismore.
A record 120 teams have signed up for the event, which includes nine gruelling challenges.
“They have to carry jerry cans, they have to flip big tractor tyres, push the prowler, run down to GSAC and they swim laps and then they’ve got to come back.”
But it’s all for a good cause.
The event is a major fundraiser for the charity Our Kids, which raises funds for paediatric equipment at Lismore Base Hospital.
Registrations for the four-person team event close on Sunday.
