Despite calls for residents to be mindful in school zones, five infringements have been issued at West Tamworth Primary School for parking in a ‘no stopping’ area in the last fortnight.
Tamworth Regional Council have issued a plea for parents to be vigilant around schools for the protection of children and fellow drivers.
Penalties for illegal parking include two demerit points and fines of up to $319.
