Staff and patrons at the Tilligerry RSL Club were confronted by an armed gang during a violent robbery last night.
Four men wielding knives and a gun burst into the club just on closing time, threatening two workers and several patrons.
The intruders ransacked cash registers, while one forced the bar manager, at gunpoint, to open a safe.
The offenders are thought to be aged in their late teens or early 20s, caucasian, and were wearing dark sports-style clothing.
