Police are investigating after a woman was seriously injured when she attempted to exit a moving vehicle on the Gold Coast.
Just before 1:30am today, a taxi was travelling along Scarborough Street in Southport, when the female passenger sitting in the rear of the vehicle opened the sliding door and exited the car while it was in motion.
The woman was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
