A man has died, after crashing his car into a tree on the Mid North Coast.
Police say the man, believed to be aged in his 70s, was driving on the Pacific Highway at Clybucca, north of Kempsey, when his car left the road shortly before 1pm.
Paramedics tried to save him, but he died at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
