Former NRL referees’ boss Bill Harrigan will be in Tamworth tomorrow to check out its football facilities ahead of Oztag’s State Cup in March.
The Plain Street fields are currently undergoing a makeover, and the tournament director is seeking assurances they’ll be ready for three full days of matches.
Tomorrow night, young referees will have a chance to learn from one of the best, when Harrigan hosts the first north west clinic of the year.
