Homeowners across the Northern Rivers are being warned about travelling conmen in the area.
The Department of Fair Trading says a man has been cold-calling residents and offering roof repairs.
Low quality work has then been completed by two men with Irish accents.
The man has also failed to provide his details when contacted by residents.
