Despite not stepping onto the diamond yet, the Armidale Outlaws baseball side can lay claim to having the largest international fan base in the region.
The new club has received more than $5,000 of personal contributions in just over a week, from countries including the United States and Austria.
In a further boost, an Australian baseball hall of famer will be visiting Armidale tomorrow, with playing equipment donated from Brisbane’s Major League Academy.
