Former Tamworth cricketer Josh Hazelwood has missed out on selection in the Australia A squad which will face South Africa next week.
The paceman had been tipped for a spot in the side, after an impressive performance for the Sydney Sixers in South Africa last week.
Selectors defended their decision indicating they would keep Hazelwood “up their sleeve”, at this stage.
