Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour will be forced into the same federal seat,
under the finalised New South Wales electoral boundaries.
The Australian Electoral Commission’s proposed boundary shake-up has been given the go-ahead.
It means the Lyne electorate will lose around 36,000 voters to Cowper, including those in Port Macquarie.
While Lyne will take in a large chunk of Paterson to the south, including Forster.
