Immediate financial assistance will be provided to the Great Lakes, following last week’s flooding.
Acting Premier Troy Grant today declared the area a natural disaster zone.
Council will now be eligible to apply for funding to help repair vital infrastructure damaged by the heavy rainfall.
Small businesses and farmers will also be given financial help.
