One person has died and another injured after a light plane crashed at an airstrip north of the Gold Coast.
The vintage Tiger Moth came down this morning near Pimpa-Jacobs Well Road at Norwell.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and a man in his 50s was freed from the wreckage.
The extent of his injuries are unknown.
