One of Tamworth’s landmark buildings will soon receive a much needed facelift.
The former Regent Cinema, on the corner of Kable Avenue and Brisbane Street, has been deteriorating since the business relocated to Centrepoint Shopping Centre in 2008.
The makeover will include installing an electronic sign and restoring the original awning shape, while the exterior will be repainted in an Art- Deco colour scheme.
