North west areas with limited telephone coverage are being asked to apply for assistance through the Federal Government’s Mobile Black Spot Program.
It follows this year’s successful first round for the region, with 28 towers installed in the New England electorate.
Nominations close at the end of the month, but successful bids face a long wait, with the government to announce new locations in the second half of next year.
