A life-saving mental health recovery house was officially opened in Port Macquarie today.
The Endeavour Clubhouse helps patients ease back into the community, with many of them eventually gaining employment.
“Everything that’s done in Clubhouse is by the members – the cleaning, the cooking, everything. And it’s a place to feel safe, it’s a place to build your socially inclusive skills,” Director Rob Moorehead said.
The program is hoping to secure government funding to ensure it can continue to operate.
