The future of the Coffs Harbour Running Festival has been assured for at least another year.
The state government has given organisers $10,000 to help stage the event in September.
The money will be spent on promoting the festival as well as administration, with all proceeds going to local charities.
The festival attracted more than 15 hundred people this year, most of them from the Coffs Coast.
