Tamworth’s Kable Avenue will see changes to parking in the coming weeks alongside the opening of the $2-million playground in Bicentennial Park this weekend.
On-street parking on Kable Avenue between White and Roderick Street will go from all-day parking to a three-hour time limit.
An additional 60 all-day free parking spaces will be ready for use in Hill Street later this month and plans are underway for a new CBD car park.
The playground, which opens this Sunday, is expected to significantly increase visitors to the park.
