A Macquarie Hills man says he’s lucky he wasn’t involved in a major car accident after his car was targeted by what he suspects was an air-rifle – just metres from a child care centre.
Brett Beachel was travelling along Macquarie Road in Cardiff when his rear windscreen suddenly shattered.
“I actually went back and had a look around and there was no car behind me, or coming the other way, so it wasn’t a rock thrown up by the tyres so that’s the only thing I can put it down to.”
Police say they are looking into the incident.
