There were dozens of cars and empty boat trailers parked at the Coffs Harbour boat ramp today.
While fishing is considered ‘passive exercise’, New South Wales Police have made it clear that it isn’t a licence to go boating en masse, or for long periods of time.
Marine Rescue volunteers said 36 boats had logged in with them throughout the morning… but they believe the true figures of those offshore, could nearly be double.
