North Coast golfer Amelia Mehmet-Grohn will soon conquer the fairways in the United States.
The 18-year-old has received a full scholarship to play golf and study at Iowa State University, playing with the Iowa State Cardinals from next year.
As part of the scholarship, she’ll receive coaching from some of North America’s best.
But before heading off next August, the Coffs Harbour local will compete at the Jack Newton Junior Golf Bonville Champions tournament, which tees off on December 2.
