A man’s fronted Gosford Local Court today accused of shooting a woman at Terrigal earlier this week.
At around 11:30 on Wednesday night, police were called to a home on Hillcrest Street, after a 31 year old woman arrived at Gosford Hospital with a gunshot wound to her right thigh.
After investigating further, police yesterday searched a property on Lisbon Way, Wyoming and seized three guns and ammunition.
That same afternoon, they then arrested a 48 year old man at a property on Roselands Avenue, also seizing another firearm.
He’s facing a number of firearm offences and a reckless wounding charge.
