Travellers at Tamworth Regional Airport were left waiting this morning, with a thick blanket of fog grounding flights.
With visibility reduced to less than 150-metres, the 6.30am flight to Sydney was delayed by three-hours.
The fog also grounded incoming flights, with the 8.45am service from Sydney delayed for over an hour.
Flights were running on time this afternoon.
