A Tamworth rugby union club has raised over $30,000 for a vital charity supporting wounded and injured servicemen.
$33,000 was presented to the Mates 4 Mates charity after the Pirates Rugby club held a fundraising event in April.
A driving force behind the club’s support of the Mates 4 Mates charity is first grade player Andrew Wynne, who’s been on several tours of Afghanistan with the Australian Defence Force.
