Hunter-bred AFL rising star Isaac Heeney has thanked his friends, family and club for their support, after undergoing surgery on a broken jaw.
The Swans player was punched from behind while getting inside a taxi, during a post-season holiday with friends in Hong Kong.
The 19-year-old posted on social media last night, telling followers he’s now on the mend.
Heeney had 16 screws and four plates inserted during the procedure.
