And now for something completely different – a Newcastle team, known as Pie Wagon, has won its opening two games at the World Ultimate Frisbee Club Championships in the United States.
The Novocastrians started their campaign with a big win over South African side, the Flying Tigers, 15 points to eight.
Pie Wagon backed that up by beating a Korean team in its second game, 15 points to 10.
The Australians are now second in Pool C, trailing an American club, BFG, on goal difference.
