Gunnedah Shire Council and the Chamber of Commerce are working on a strategic plan to increase trade with China in the New Year.
Councillors are hoping to showcase the region’s best exports in a proposed overseas trip to generate investment opportunities within the region.
A small group of councillors and local business owners will travel to China in early next year.
