Last night, Japan was in cruise control against Palestine.

“Out it comes to Kagawa … and it’s deflected in for the second goal.”

Kagawa turned provider after the break, as the defending champions put the result beyond doubt, 4-nil.

“He’s able to turn and cross and there is the fourth goal for Japan.”

In other positive news, the Hunter Stadium pitch passed its first test of the Asian Cup.
