Police have charged two youths with robbery offences in Armidale.
Just after 2pm yesterday, a 31 year old taxi driver picked up three males on Longswamp Road.
They failed to pay upfront as requested, and following a number of stops, two of the passengers verbally and physically abused the driver, while the other attempted to steal money.
Later that day two 12 year old boys were apprehended and charged.
