The Westpac Rescue Helicopter is flying a 13-year-old Hunter Valley boy to Sydney’s Westmead Hospital after he was scalded by hot water.
Rescuers say the boy was holding a basin of boiling water which spilled into his lap causing serious injuries.
The helicopter landed at a property at Hambledon Hill near Singleton, late this afternoon to retrieve the boy.
