Gunnedah Mayor Owen Hasler and Deputy Mayor Gaw Swain have both been re-elected for the fourth consecutive year.
A mayoral vote took place late yesterday, Hasler won 5 votes to 2, after a challenge from Councillor Colleen Fuller.
A six to two vote saw Gae Swain enter another year as Deputy Mayor, defeating Councillor David Quince.
The Fit for the Future reforms remain the leadership team’s focus, which are due to be handed down in a matter of months.
