Two boys – aged 11 and 15 – charged over a bushfire that tore through several Hunter suburbs, faced Raymond Terrace Court today.
The blaze began in dry grass in Hank Street at Heatherbrae on October 13.
It eventually destroyed more than 5,000 hectares of bushland, and forced hundreds of residents to flee their homes.
The 11-year-old today had his strict bail conditions altered so he can attend school. Both boys are due back in court on the 18th of December.
