The search for a yacht, believed to have sunk in big seas off Port Stephens last week, has been suspended.
Stockton Bight has given up few clues since the bodies of two men were found washed ashore late on Friday afternoon.
71-year-old Antonio Giner from Duns Creek near Paterson, and his 76-year-old brother-in-law Piers Dudley Bateman, were sailing from Broken Bay to Port Stephens.
It’s thought their eight-metre yacht was overwhelmed at around 3am.
