Armidale Airport’s expansion is a step closer, with the design and project management contract for the passenger terminal awarded.
GHD Woodhead will carry out the work that’s estimated to cost more than half a million dollars, and aid the airport’s transformation into a regional aviation hub.
It’s part of an overall plan which will also see upgrades to runway lighting, apron extensions and a parallel taxi-way.
