Former chairwoman of Cancer Voices New South Wales, Kathy Smith, will be endorsed as Labor’s candidate for Gosford.
The announcement follows suggestions controversial former federal MP Belinda Neal was considering contesting pre-selection.
Labor will also have David Harris contesting the seat of Wyong and Jeff Sundstrom for Terrigal.
New South Wales will go to the polls on March 28 next year.
