HEAD ON COLLISION IN ARMIDALE LEAVES SIX INJURED

A man is in a critical condition, and five others have been seriously injured, after two cars collided in Armidale late yesterday.

Police say a Toyota Cressida and a Peugeot Sedan crashed head-on at around 5pm, on Dumaresq Dam Road.

The 19-year-old driver of the Toyota was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

His passenger, along with the five people in the Peugeot, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
