For Gunnedah residents who’re wondering what a large blue fridge is doing on the corner of Conadilly and Chandos Street, it’s actually a book shelf.
A large blue refurbished fridge has been set up as a council initiative to celebrate Local Government Week and promote literature.
It invites those looking for something ‘cool’ to read to take a book, read it and bring it back, or replace it with one from their own collection.
It’ll be on the corner until Sunday.
