Central North Rugby’s finals get underway tomorrow, with the Pirates hosting the Magpies in the tier one elimination semi.
Last time the teams met, the black-and-whites ended a nine-year drought against their cross-town rivals.
The winner will play the loser of next week’s clash between Narrabri and Moree in a fortnight.
While in the second tier, Gunnedah host Walcha in the major semi final, with hosting rights for the decider up for grabs.
The other game sees Barraba and Inverell go head-to-head in a battle for their season.
