A popular beach at Lennox Head has been closed, after a large shark was spotted in the area.
Surf Life Saving New South Wales closed Seven Mile Beach at around midday, after it was seen swimming about 50-metres offshore.
It comes just days after beaches were reopened, following a shark attack at Evans Head.
52-year-old Craig Ison was surfing when he was bitten last Friday.
