WEATHER: A VERY ICY MORNING

It was an incredibly cold start to the day.

There were a few small records broken, but it was more to do with the wind chill factor that made it feel so cold.

We have more very cold nights on the way. It’s going to remain fairly windy, so the wind chill factor will make sure it feels icy.

Most of the days will be fine and partly cloudy, but lengthy sunny breaks will help a little.

Still cold during the day, warming a little over the weekend.
