A morning walk up Mount Warning had a dramatic end for a female bush walker yesterday.
The 20 year-old was three quarters of the way down the mountain, when she slipped and fractured her ankle.
She called triple-zero and the Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter was called in to winch her out.
Rescuers say it’s a timely reminder for bush walkers to be prepared incase of emergencies.
